Filler line intended to cover the gap created when the 2007 movie was pushed back from its original 2006 release as the toy line got pushed back with it. Not to be confused with the 1990 European line of G1 re-issues. It's also the genesis of the overarching toy line referred to as Generations that covers multiple sub toy lines.
